What You Need To Know…

Ministry Purpose:  The ministry’s purpose is to edify the body of Christ and offer assistance and hospitality to members, visitors and friends. The ministry exists to groom and nurture the youth while preparing them for the responsibility of the Senior Usher Ministry.

What We’re Doing:

1.Serving as doorkeepers and watchman of the church on the Fifth Sunday and other times as needed.
2. Witnessing to and encouraging the community of Oak Park and beyond to attend service and become members of the church and our usher board.
3. Showing qualities of kindness, helpfulness and concern for others.
4. Providing a footprint for upcoming youth according to teachings of the Gospel.

When We Meet:

The Second Saturday of every month from noon to one pm in the sanctuary.

Why should you join the Junior Usher  Ministry?

The Junior Usher Ministry  offers young people a chance to serve and to learn the duties of the Senior Ushers. Junior Ushers also have an opportunity to fellowship with one another and with other youth in area churches.
