2009 Retreat Participants

Yes, it's almost time for the Women's Prayer Retreat. For seventeen years, women from New Hope and other community churches have taken a three day retreat to get together, pray, sing praises to the Lord and relax in a rustic setting. This year's retreat will once again be held at Mercy Center Auburn.

This year's speaker will be Sis. Mary Collins from Showers of Blessings Church. Sis. Collins spoke at New Hope this past Women's Day; she will lead ministry activities on each day of the retreat.  Sis. Thelma Livingston, who has never missed a retreat in the seventeen years it has taken place, will chair this year's event.

When asked what brings her back to the retreat year after year, Sis. Livingston replied, "It's a time to refuel and get a fresh outlook on prayer. It's also a time to meet Christian women from different churches and have an opportunity to share".

The dates are August 27th through the 29th and there is still time for you to secure a spot.  You can reserve a spot by paying the non-refundable deposit of $50 today.
