FULFILLING YOUR MINISTRY PURPOSE AT NEW HOPE

                                                


    YES,  it’s time to commit to ministry ......  In a purpose driven church, indeed in a strong Bible based, New Testament church,  the lay ministry is crucial. It is one of the five functions of the church described by Luke in the book of Acts. Together with evangelism, discipleship, worship, and fellowship, ministry (meeting another person’s needs in the name of Christ) is the responsibility of all believers.

    Here at New Hope, we joyfully follow this biblical mandate, taking advantage of the numerous ministries available. Truly, there is something for men and women, boys and girls of  every age, every gifting and every interest.

    In the area of music, the opportunities include the Voices of New Hope,  Angelic Voices of Hope and the Praise Team. Two new opportunities, the Voices of Grace and Levites of Hope have also been formed. Details are available by clicking the Music Ministry link on the homepage.

    Ministries specifically designed for women include: Phoebe Women’s Ministry, WHope,  and the Women's Missionary Ministry. Men are encouraged to join the Men's Ministry whereas the Senior Adult MinIstry reaches out to men and women of retirement age.

    Young people are invited to join the Youth of a New Generation, Junior Usher Ministry and the Sunday School .

    For those with special technical gifts and interests, we would suggest the Audio-Video Ministry or working on the website. For those with the calling of evangelism and/or counseling, we would encourage you to contact leaders of the Counseling/Decision Time Ministry or the New Membership Ministry.

    Additional ministries cover a wide variety of opportunities to grow spirtitually and to serve. These ministries include:  Beautification, Arts and Crafts Ministry, the Christian Education Ministry,  First Aid Ministry, Kitchen Ministry, Community Outreach Ministry, Senior Usher Ministry, Sunday School , the Bereavement Ministry   and the Greeters Ministry.
